Practical Garden Design Case Study

On our first visit to this site nearly all we had to look at was some overgrown Christmas trees and long grass. The best bit was the view, so no wonder the lady of the house chose this spot within an extensive garden. 

 

The kitchen garden is only 6 months old in the photograph and already productive. This site had its problems. The main issues being all materials had to cross the lawn, no water or electric supplies and Peter Rabbit and his chums. We trenched the lawn for water and electric and back-filled carefully. 

 

To finish we carefully relayed the previously lifted turf. On completion one would not have realised that a 3ft deep trench had just gone through. The ferrying in of concrete, crushed stone, organic matter, topsoil, sheds and green house was completed with equal care in winter. On completion no lawn renovation work was required.
